SCHOOL DISTRICT

Academics

In the Pelham School District, Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment are aligned to create a cohesive, student-centered educational experience for every learner. Our goal is to deliver a rigorous, clearly articulated K–12 curriculum that prepares all students to be future-ready, demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed for success in college, career, and life. To achieve this, interdisciplinary curriculum teams—composed of teachers, specialists, and administrators—engage in ongoing review, refinement, and alignment of our programs. Through the use of high-quality instructional materials, evidence-based practices, and continuous analysis of student learning data, we ensure that expectations at each grade level are clear, developmentally appropriate, and equitably delivered across classrooms. In the 2025-2026 school year, teams have focused on updating materials and offerings to meet the needs of the ED 306 Minimum Standards shift that goes into effect on July 1, 2026.
