Do you want to be an Artist...then think about the value of taking a business course to learn how to price your work so that you make money. How about a Mechanic? Take a business course and learn how to get work to pay for your tools. How about a Photographer or Entrepreneur? Take a business course and learn how to market yourself. You want to be an IT Manager? Do you want to be a Supervisor? Take a business course and learn all the aspects of management. Do you want to work in the medical field? Take a business course and learn how to manage your time and staff.
Welcome to the Business Department where students will have the opportunity to enroll and develop business skills that will prepare them for a life beyond Pelham High School that include college, the work force, or even owning a business. The skills acquired in these courses can be used in any industry, at home, and even working on your passion. The Business pathway is not just for careers in accounting, marketing, management, entrepreneurship, or technology. Even while enrolled in another pathway, the skills learned in the Business Department will prove useful.
