Congratulations on getting a job!
A NH Youth Employment Certificate (working papers) is required for any youth 12 to 15 years old and must be on file at the employer's place of business within three business days of the first day of employment.
The parent/legal guardian OR a school official may sign and issue the certificate.
Note: No school signatures are required on ANY forms
Upon completion of the form:
Provide a copy to the employer for their records
Provide a copy to the DOL at address below
Retain a copy for your records
