Happy last day of school! What a unique yet amazing school year in so many ways! I have said this numerous times but it is worth repeating. I am so proud of our educators, administrators, School Board, parents, and, most importantly, our students during this transition to Remote Learning. Everyone demonstrated such great resilience and flexibility in order to meet our student’s educational needs. Everyone did put in a great deal of effort to make it happen. We had to deal with so many uncertainties during this health crisis. It was our responsibility as an educational community to adapt to meet the safety needs during this unprecedented health crisis. Thank you all for your effort and determination. Not only did we adapt to the situation, but we have grown and learned from this experience.
Attached you will find some resources for our families who may be looking for available food resources for this summer. We will not be continuing with food deliveries this summer, but we understand that some of our families may still be looking for food resources available to them. Thank you to our Food Service Director Kelly Rambeau. You will find a list of available resources attached to this message. We have also placed the new Free and Reduced Lunch form on our website. If your financial status has changed recently, please take the time to fill out this form. If you qualify, it could provide additional resources for you and your family. Lastly, I want to thank you for the opportunity to be the Superintendent of Pelham these past two years. It has been a wonderful experience, and it truly is a great district to work and live in. I know you are in great hands with Dr. Chip McGee. The district is already hard at work with the reopening plans. Please be on the lookout for his email looking for volunteers to be on his Reopening Task Force. Thank you and enjoy the summer. It is time well deserved!
