Both Ms. Oliver and Mrs. Flaherty meet with students individually and in small groups to address students' needs. Topics may include self-regulation, anxiety, bereavement, and making & keeping friends, just to name a few.
Mrs. Flaherty received her B.A. in Psychology from State University of New York in Potsdam, New York. She received her M.S. in Counselor Education from Alfred University. She also holds an Advanced Certification in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialty in Conflict Resolution and Peaceable Schools from Lesley University. She lives in Hudson with her husband, Steve, their son Aidan and daughter Keira.
Ms. Oliver received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and her M.Ed. in Counseling from Plymouth State College. She has been a School Counselor since 1990. She is a member of the New Hampshire School Counselor Association. She likes to go shopping for bargains and out to eat on the weekends. She enjoys helping out animal rescue causes and spending time with her rescue dog, Mickey.
