Proposed Academic Schedule
In the proposed schedule, students meet for academic classes that are 85 minutes long. Four classes meet on "A" days, and four different classes meet on "B" days, for a total of eight classes throughout the school year.

Q Does having a class every other day negatively affect a student's ability to retain what he/she has learned?
Q How does the A/B schedule impact homework - if a student is taking twice as many classes, won't there be twice as much homework?
Q Does A/B Block Schedule impact a student already enrolled at Pelham High School who has made 4 year planning decisions based on the 4x4 schedule currently in effect?
Q Because they now have to teach twice as many classes with twice the number of students, can teachers give the time and attention students need to be successful?
Q How will this change impact students that are already enrolled in a 2 year CTE program? If the student is in a program this year will they be able to take the 2nd year next year?
